EFT involves lightly tapping on specific acupressure (meridian) points with your fingertips while focusing on a particular issue, along with the emotions or physical sensations connected to it.


As you tap on these key points, you’re sending calming signals to the brain; especially the amygdala, which governs the fight-or-flight response. This allows your body to stay grounded, even as you acknowledge stressful thoughts, memories, or feelings.


Over time, this process helps your nervous system respond differently to old triggers. Emotional patterns that once felt automatic begin to loosen their grip, creating space for healthier, more balanced responses.


In other words, tapping helps rewire the brain, softening the emotional charge around past experiences and shifting how we think, feel, and behave.
